Support the La Bravia S. Jenkins Food Access Relief Program
We established this program to honor the legacy of La Bravia S. Jenkins, a co-founder of the Old Louisville Farmers Market who believed everyone deserves access to fresh, locally-grown food. As the market’s vice president during its first three years, La Bravia was the driving force behind its mission to serve everyone in our community.
Your donations directly fund:
- Relief tokens that allow low-income neighbors to shop for nutritious produce at the Old Lou Farmers Market.
- Outreach and marketing to ensure individuals facing food insecurity find out about food access benefits available at the farmers market.
- Program operations to keep food access services running smoothly every market season.
